Grant Writing Workshop
Ask yourself this question, “What is my passion?” Are you thinking of acting on your passion or idea by forming a nonprofit organization? Wondering what’s the difference between a nonprofit and a for-profit company? Whether your interest is blighted housing, research, childcare, the arts, job training, health and wellness, education, or youth sports, this is an opportunity for you to obtain information that can assist you in moving closer to your passion.
H.E.L.P. Educational Services, LLC will offer a beginner’s guide for individuals to prepare and submit a professional proposal. Participants will learn how to:
- research funding opportunities
- identify and target key funders
- develop a proposal
- develop program and project budgets
Navigating the Course is a three-part workshop, available as individual sessions in 3 hours.
Registration is: $125 per participant.
Participants receive a workshop folder full of essential information, resources, and samples. Additional resources will be made available depending on the workshop.
Session One ------ Grants and Proposal Development
Participants will brainstorm with their proposal ideas; discuss who should be on their grants committee for proposal writing, review components of a typical proposal.
Session Two ------- Identifying a Potential Donor/Funder
Participants will learn how to conduct basic research for funding sources with the best chance of success.
Session Three ------ Navigating Your Proposal Toward Submission
Participants will learn the proper way to package and deliver their finished proposal to the funder.
